This charger 12V 240W-10A for Lithium Iron Phosphate battery incorporates a charging algorithm optimized for LiFePO4 technology batteries.
Charge curve is CC-CV type : Constant current (CC) / Constant voltage (CV) with end of the charge trigered with current output < 100mA. The LFP (LiFePO4) technology allows a fast charging of the battery, sometimes < 2 hours.
Lithium technology has a very low discharge (<3% per month), the floating function is not useful. Moreover, it is necessary for the lithium cells to relax after the end of charging, so floating is not recommended.
Charging current is automatically regulated thanks to its algorithm for more efficient charging and longer battery lifespan.
For safety
It is protected against short-circuit and accidental polarity reversal. The metal case is equipped with active ventilation system allows the charger to be used in harsh environments or hot climates.
